LEATHER QUALITY: Madras ground and embossed top grain leather.
LEATHER THICKNESS: 0.9 mm – 1.1 mm
Pigmented leathers are the most commonly used leather qualities. The hide is sanded, base-dyed, and embossed (patterned in relief) to mimic the natural pattern of the leather. Embossing qualities vary in height; generally, thicker leathers have stronger embossing. The intensive treatment allows most hide qualities to be used, resulting in a more affordable price.
The leather is finished with surface dyeing and a lacquer layer that increases durability and facilitates cleaning.
